I sprayed compressed air on a CPU cooling fan in a smoker's PC once, and the nastiest smelling dust you can imagine came flying out. I had just eaten lunch, and it almost came back up. It smelled like a smelly wet dog, or something. Since then, I wear one of those disposable surgical masks whenever I clear dust with compressed air.
